At Munkudil Ayurveda and Yoga Retreat we say “Wishing you a happy and healthy life.”

This is because this is what we hope to enable all of our guests to be able to experience. Our Ayurveda and Yoga practitioners are highly skilled and experienced as well as dedicated to providing you with the best possible experience during your stay with us. Yoga and Ayurveda are thousands of years old and originate from India.
It is  recommended to practice Yoga and Ayurveda together in order to fully benefit your health and wellbeing.  Yoga is a physical and psychological exercise which aims to help the body to recover and heal from disease as well as to keep the body healthy. Practices can be adapted for anyone, regardless of age or ability. Ayurveda means ‘science of life.’ Treatments are based on your individual health, wellness and constitutional state (also called Dosha). Ayurveda incorporates yoga, diet, massage, herbs and cleansing practices.   

We built a new Yoga shala in 2019 which is spacious and cool. We have an onsite Yoga teacher. Visiting teachers with their own groups are also welcome to bring their own students. We have two Ayurvedic therapy rooms.

Our Ayurvedic therapists are hightly skilled and experienced. On arrival you will see the Ayurvedic doctor and he will decide a course of treatments for you, what is recommended will depend upon your health when you arrive. The treatments may include herbs, diet, massage therapies and specific yoga practices.
